The Icon FJ44 – Tackle the Trails Like a Boss

Start with 350 horsepower from an aluminium 5.2 liter V8 engine; add some DynaTrac axles with an Atlas II transfer case; throw in some Race Runner shocks; stick on a handcrafted stainless steel exhaust system and shake your ingredients together inside the husk of an old Toyota Land Cruiser and you’re still nowhere near completing this mother of an off-roader.

The Icon 4×4 FJ44 is a masterpiece of over-engineering (but in a good way!). It’s got all the mod cons; the power-assisted this-and-that, a whole host of electronics, powerful winches, an awesome sound system and upholstery that would make the tailors of Saville Row weep but that’s just the tip of the iceberg with this destroyer.

The body is made by a specialist boat builder, allowing for an indestructible finish that will last you a lifetime, despite however many rolls you want to take. The engine is powerful and is tuned to tackle anything; the FJ44 can tackle rocky hill climbs faster than many specially built rock crawlers. The interior is engineered to almost military specification. There just isn’t a bad thing to say about this Icon 4×4.

It’s not just a 4×4 though; when you’ve come down from the hills and it’s time to go home, the fun doesn’t have stop. Even your journey home on the highway is going to be a blast as the FJ44 handles like a sports car as you roll along the road. You can drive home in quiet, air-conditioned bliss.

Ok, there is one downside and that’s the price tag; however, if you’re an off-roading enthusiast then it’s a small price to pay for a vehicle that’s definitely going to last you a lifetime.
