The Brutus 750 – The Two Wheeled Beast

From the minds of the engineers behind some of the world’s most amazing sports cars, from the same factory that builds its own brand of Formula 1 car comes the most surprising machine yet: the Caterham Bikes Brutus 750. This two-wheeled concept was unveiled at this year’s EICMA motorcycle show in Milan and shows what the two-wheeled machines of the future could look like.

Sat upon 12” rims, the Brutus draws its strength from a liquid-cooled 750cc engine; promising raw power and more than enough grunt to tackle any obstacle.

According to the guys at the Caterham Bikes Division, this motorcycle is supposed to be taking the next steps in motorcycle evolution as a multifunctional, on-road, off-road work horse that is supposedly able to be converted into a snowmobile with the addition of a few specialist aftermarket parts.

It’s a long way from the old, rusting farm bikes that you could find in any farmers barn, that’s for sure.

The Brutus 750 was designed by Alessandro Tartarini, Caterham’s head designer. Despite only being a concept model, it looks like they’re serious about approaching the two wheeled market seriously and may even have a crack at the Moto2 class of racing.
